Director of Product Development

Dan Knodle is an accomplished product design and development leader with more than three decades of experience transforming complex ideas into successful, manufacturable products. Known for his ability to solve tough design challenges, streamline production, and deliver under pressure, Dan is named on 26 U.S. patents. His work includes developing a product with over 1 billion units sold, establishing six contract manufacturing operations, and creating durable supply chain relationships to support global scale. Over the course of his career, he has led the creation and commercialization of groundbreaking innovations across industries, including medical devices, infrared sensing, consumer electronics, and connected hardware.

Dan has held senior roles at companies such as ThermogenesisGroup, where he led the development of ergonomic and sanitation-focused desk accessories; RevelHMI, where he brought a personal wellness device from prototype to over 500,000 units in the 1st year; and Iota, where he directed the development of a next-generation cellular communications device showcased by Visa at Mobile World Congress. As a founder of OT LLC and Evergreen Sensor Technology Corporation, Dan built companies from the ground up, overseeing everything from product invention and IP strategy to international manufacturing and distribution.

Earlier in his career, he led global engineering teams at CMI Worldwide, Trillium Health Products, and Cascadia Technology Corporation, delivering pioneering products that combined mechanical, electronic, and software innovation.

Dan holds a BS in Biochemistry from Whitworth College and completed graduate research at Ohio State University. He lives in Seattle, Washington.
